Arrive in Amsterdam and make your way to the hotel. Once you check-in, you’ll have free time to explore the nearby area, visit museums or relax after your flight while the rest of our pre-cruise group arrives. Tonight, we’ll enjoy a group dinner.
Sunday, August 5
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will start the day with a Jewish Tour including a visit to the Anne Frank House and the Portuguese Synagogue. Later, we’ll see Amsterdam as it was meant to be seen – from the canals on a boat tour.
Tonight, we’ll have the evening free to see the amazing city of Amsterdam. From the Red Light District to the Heineken Experience, there is so much to see in Amsterdam after dark. We’ll have a meeting place and time and are happy to make recommendations!
Monday, August 6
This morning, after enjoying a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will take you on a half day tour of Amsterdam. After, we’ll transfer to our new home for the next 12 days, Celebrity Eclipse!

1-Night Package (August 5)
Short on time and want to arrive without having to worry about flying in the same day of the cruise? We offer a one-night option designed with just that in mind. Join us and catch a bit of Amsterdam while knowing you are there early enough not to miss the boat!
Double Occupancy – $335 per person, Single Occupancy – $495
Rate includes one night hotel, transfer from the hotel to the cruise pier, half day sightseeing tour of Amsterdam, breakfast, baggage handling and taxes.

Cancellation Policy for Cruise and Pre-Cruise Packages: Prior to April 9, 2018, there is a $100 penalty for cancellation. From April 10 – May 8, 2018, the cancellation penalty is the amount of the deposit for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From May 9 – June 7, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 50% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. From June 8 – July 5, 2018, the cancellation penalty is 75% of the total for the cruise and pre-cruise package. Cancellations made on July 6, 2017 or after and “no-shows” will receive no refund. There is no refund in the event of interruption or cancellation after the start of the cruise and pre-cruise.
Travel Protection: Amazing Journeys recommends you purchase Travel Protection. Information will be sent with your trip confirmation.
Proof of Citizenship: All passengers must present a valid passport (valid for six months beyond the last date of travel) to board the vessel. There is no visa required for US, Canadian or UK Citizens to all of the countries we are visiting. If you are from a country other than those mentioned, please check with the Embassies of the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands to find out if a visa is necessary.
Dining Preference: Late Dining has been reserved for our group on this sailing. In addition to the main restaurant, there are several specialty restaurants (fees apply), a buffet and room service.
Currency Fluctuations: In case of currency fluctuations greater than 3% on our pre-cruise package, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly in order to operate the tour.
Port Taxes, Fuel Surcharges, Government Fees and Gratuities: Port taxes, government fees and gratuities have all been included in the rate. Port taxes, government fees and gratuities are based on September 2017 rates and are subject to change. Should oil costs go above $65 per barrel, and the cruise line add fees, Amazing Journeys reserves the right to add them to the cost of the package. The cost will be no more than $10 per guest per day.
Air and Airport Transfers: Airfare has not been included in the cruise rates. Details will be sent with your cruise confirmation. Information on optional transfers to and from the ship will be sent closer to the sailing date. It is important that you not purchase airfare until you receive a confirmation letter which will contain specific flight parameters. Cruise and Pre-Cruise passengers will fly round-trip to Amsterdam (AMS)
